Morning run w/tbirds (4) at Swanson. Very steamy in the woods. Kicked a tree root about 3/4 ways in and hurt like hell. Did the same thing this winter and ended up missing a couple days and losing a toenail.

The breeze made this somewhat tolerable so I did pick up the pace a little. I stopped by the arts festival on my way back, much to the horror and stinkiness of the other festival goers. Looked fun.

Tough to get out there today. But afterwards I remembered what BetsE said: It's such a good feeling AFTER getting it done!
