Checking out some tree damage with RJ, Nel and Bob. Did loop up 25th and then Blackhawk trail which was blocked with trees. Ended p running up the long hill to get back to 36th and then through Quail Creek. Feeling really tired.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the dads!!

Good run today, which actually felt a lot better than the 20 miler last Sunday AND the 16 miler 2 weeks ago! I'm sure the more pleasant weather had something to do with it. I hope also that I'm becoming more heat acclimated. I keep thinking of Berlin in September and the 9:15 start--I want to be ready for it.

Song of the day: "Another Day of Sun" by the "La La Land" cast. After seeing the movie twice in the theatre, I did not rent it, or stream it, or even buy the DVD. I bought the Blu Ray because it had the most bonus materials! This opening song sets the tone for the movie and is stunning musically and visually.

Great morning for a run. Wanted to run longer today but its been a rough week at work and spent the day yesterday cutting up and hauling away a large tree that fell in the backyard. Happy Father's Day!
