Unfortunately I have some soreness in the achilles after the run yesterday. I got up early to hit the pool before the high school swim practice only to find a sign on the door that they were closed for chemical issues.

Nice solid spin. Got a break at 1:20 when my parents showed up to switch back cars after taking my sister's family to the airport.

2015 is going out with a whimper as far as my running goes. Here's to a good 2016.

Last run of the year, long for me, good way to end this year. Gotta figure out why the new garmin puts this about .12 shorter than the old garmin. More puzzling is why the first mile is much further on my route and pace is always over ten minutes but the next mile is about 45 seconds faster?

Wore my new Under Armour Infrared Tactical Hood and it worked nicely. And my sunglasses didn't fog up. Overall a decent run.

My pick for WORST song of 2015: "Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift. Without a doubt. The embarrasing rhymes snowball in a regressive set of eyeball rollbacks. I feel zero sympathy for the whiny protagonist in the song.

My pick for BEST song of 2015 (and today's song of the day): "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran. Smart, sensitive, well written and well performed. The kid's got an abundance of talent and I look forward to his future work.
