My 11 year old daughter's second 10k. She didn't think anyone was going to cheer for her when she finished, but they did and that was pretty cool. This was pretty awesome to be able to help her through this.

Tempo run at Lake M. 4+ mile warm up including 2 at home. 2 x 2 miles around the lake with 5 min jog recovery. 3+ mile cool down.

Tempo goal was to get under 8:00 pace. Tempo average pace 7:52, 7:57. Worked hard and happy with result. Now I just need to keep it going, that’s the hardest part.

Great group! Tried to stay close to Mary and pacer Christine during tempo.

Awesome smoothie afterwards at Ward’s Berry Farm!
