Thankful for that wind for once. Bunch of cows acting as linebackers trying to prevent me from getting to my hills. I couldn't get a hold of the owners before they ended up trampling through a bean field.

Holy jeez, what a grind. Thankfully, Skocz allowed me a couple of walk breaks (when, oh when, am I going to quit "needing" those?!).

The breeze out of the south was perfection though.

Still though, I was dripping sweat, shoes were squishy, and I stank to high heaven @ the end. Gross.

hskrrs Ditto on the breeze.

2017-07-25 Running - Ralston-Omaha-LaVista Weather: 73; 89% humidity; 8 mph SE wind	8 miles 01:01:00 (7:37 min/mile)

Kind of a broken up progressive tempo. Workout was
1.5 mile WU
2 mile tempo (slow end of tempo range)
3.5 minute jog
2 mile tempo (fast end of tempo range)
3.5 minute jog
1 mile 10K pace
.7 mile CD

I was consistently about 5 seconds slower than my goal paces in the workout. Getting there, but grrr, still.

Song of the day: "Ashes to Ashes" by David Bowie.
