Needed to loosen up after sitting for about 8 hours. Jeep didn't want to leave Syracuse so call d the Dude to give us a ride to Lincoln so we could rent a car to get home. Needed to get a few checks in the mail tomorrow so headed to the office since I will be on the road tomorrow to see if I can talk the Jeep into coming home.

Happy birthday, Doug!

The run was 6 miles easy and the last 10 at slightly faster than GMP. For today, the afternoon worked better for me than the morning for the run. Can't believe Boston is 2 weeks and a day away!

Had planned to run this one with a mate, but she bailed, so solo running it was. I have never felt stronger than I do right now, and after my highest mileage ever of almost 60 miles in the last seven days, I'm finding this feeling incredible. Glute and everything is feeling good. FIFTEEN DAYS!
  • Dan Dan So glad to hear this, Jackie! Great run today, enjoy the taper, and ROCK Boston!!

Cool enough, yet for leggings and a jacket. Breeze shifted from straight South to Southwest. Just an ok tailwind home. Quads were a bit tight on the ride.

#Epic run with #BigSu and #wassEzCrew (Greg Hatten, Kelly Crawford and John Lefever...owner of a 21:47:53 100 Miler AT Leadville 100)

Turned at 3.1 with BigSu, #wassEzCrew ventured on for more.

Last time I ran with BigSu was Aug. 16th, 2012, before daHip & crAzY training retired me for 4 1/2+ years. ;)

Yeah, true while I'm not supposed to be running it is what it is, and right now it's pr$celess. If time comes to replace it, so be it.

Post-Run at the local Casey's.

On my bike I met up with the guys on their run. Legs feeling good after yesterday's run. Kept wishing I was on my feet. Mainly because I was a wet, frozen ice block on my bike. Turned toward home early because ice pellets were pelting my eyes. :)

Happy Sunday.
