Went out way too fast. Mile 4 I thought about just stopping snd sitting down. Not kidding. But I kept at it. The wind. The wind. :/

I have to say, this was quite amusing though. I could feel him reeling me in. I saw him at the switchback on Mile 4. Bryan caught me at Mile 4.5. I thought I was toast. Got a little spark as I hit Mile 5. I was able to hold tight. Beat Matty Poo by 10 sec. Well, with a 5 and a half minute start. :)

Great day with great people.

Drove down to Lincoln to meet Greg and John at the Jamaican Trail Head to go long. Still recovering from Thursday's workout, so kept the pace and heart rate under control. Beautiful morning out. You can tell Lincoln Marathon training is in full swing as the trail head parking lot had more cars in it this morning than what we have seen all winter in total. Breakfast at Stauffer's afterwards, then spent a couple of hours with the Hattan twins. Best part of the trip down to Lincoln.
