Pretty nice morning out there and a fun run with Dave, Theresa, Shawn, Ashley, Carl, Tom, Paul and Chuck.
My daughter fell off the treadmill last night - scraped her leg pretty badly and punched a good hole in the wall. Thank goodness she didn't get more hurt!

Chilly. Deer scared me pretty good (& probably I him) at a nice dark spots of the trail. Bolted about 5 yards in front of me, crashing through the woods. I was close enough to smell it. Fairly uneventful the rest of the way.

Just about over the cold. Then, around 11pm, my 5 year old scrambled to the bathroom to puke. Good for her, no mess! She slept with mom, so I was relegated to the basement (the cat kept me company). One sickness ends, another begins...

Anyone ever run the Lake Manawa 10k? The first one is tomorrow, and it isn't goign to be freezing.

Ok, so I was way underdressed. :/ Freezing. And very tired. Me, Bryan, Matt, and LucyDog. A bit of a disjointed run with three pit stops (Lucy-two, Me-one), a stop to let Matt give me his vest, and one stop to have Matt give me his gloves. I couldn't wait to be done. Lucy was toast too. Too tired to jump in the car. We are quite the pair. Bryan told me I've been overextending myself, and I should park myself on my couch with coffee all day. I like the way he thinks. Here's to my 3-day weekend.

Not too bad out this morning. Got asked to work a girls jv game in a nearby town last night. Short drive, good pay, easy peasy. Noticed per the game schedule that there was only an hour scheduled for the jv game. Knew that wasn't likely. First half took 40 minutes. Had a girl dive for the ball, get her hair caught in a folding chair. Home builds a 12 point lead near the end of the 3rd, doesn't score again until the visitors go up by 3 with seconds to go. Home buries a 3, ot. Nearly had a second ot. Only put the other games about 45 minutes behind schedule. Good start to the season. Double varsity tonight, should be fun. Have a great Friday.
