A little different warmup today as I had a 35 min. bike ride to school due to car trouble. Maybe that was a good thing...workout went well. 1-1/2 mi wu on track. 5 x 1000 w/600 recovery jog (3:45). 3:31/3:34/3:33/3:33/3:28 avg. = 3:32 (5:35 mi pace). Averaged 10 seconds faster per 1K than 3 weeks ago.

Jason, Greg, Matt, Bryan, and me from Shopko. Guys had some repeats. So we all warmed up together for 1.5 then they zoomed off. We ran out and back so I just had only about 4 miles with just me and my tunes. But so many familiar faces. I felt so nice today! We were rolling when Matt was showing examples of my running etiquette. There's a comedian around every corner.

Best way to start a day is with friends that's pho sho.

Weird morning. Tried running at 4am and my hip/butt made me have to stop after a mile, completely disheartened. I went home and did some aggressive foam rolling and mobility work. Then did weights and a little jump rope. Things felt good so I decided to give running another go. It felt good again, which is reassuring. Maybe I need to do a better job warming up.
