New era of running to evolve with now for me. My department got a new director, who is not on the same page as my old directors philosophy about lunch times. Basically was told yesterday that she thought my lunches were out of line. Quite a wrench in my schedule, as my wife runs in the mornings before work. May have to become a "after the kids go to bed runner" now.

  • baldguy baldguy Why some people are stuck in the 50's is beyond me. I take 75 minute lunches. My manager understands since I come in by 7 and am usually here until 5:30 I get much more than an 8 hour day in. And most importantly my productivity is higher when I run.

From Meadowlark for Jason's BDay run. Beautiful morning. And running with birthday hats on never gets old. Coffee, donuts, and laughs to follow. Jason is my pastor and he has been such an influence on my life. And he knows our own PC well also! Great start to a Friday.

Last day off before my work Holiday weekend. Triple booooooo. Molly's meet is tomorrow and I'm sick about missing it. I just might have to be MIA for about 45 min. No one will notice. Ok, that won't work. Gotta bring home the bacon. :/ This is the only meet I'm missing that's pho sho.

Always struggle to get the heart rate/effort up this early. Ended up tripping over the world's smallest crack in the road as I was getting complacent (aka asleep on my feet). I was surprised I didn't do more damage to my hands. Definitely more awake after that. Did 20 miles on the bike and weights/yoga after.
