Tbird group run at Swanson after school and the summer ended like it started and continued with just a very disappointing turnout. Nobody wants to work that hard. Hell, nobody wants to work period. The kids that do show up are so slow I feel like I just play babysitter and crossing guard. On a lot of days, I really question why I am wasting my time and energy.

Started pretty fast, but then adjusted my pace so I could breathe the rest of the run. 2nd best 5k time ever for me! 2nd in Age Group. I think 6th overall

Lots of cool, expensive bikes/beautiful people around town for the tri'ships! Neat to see that in Omaha.

Tempo for me. 2x2mile (6:35avg;6:25 avg) w/ a 3 minute rest in between. Though, I also stopped at Harrah's during the second rep to grab a drink [of water].

Felt the stress roll away as I ran. Camped last night right on the water at stagecoach state park reservoir. Ran the county road around the lake and hit a trail passed the dam. Beautiful views and it wasn't 90 and humid. Perfect
