Omaha [20160401]: Witness Me!!

I let the rain lull me back to bed this morning; so, JFR run it was.
Did my "look @ me" route north/south on 90th. Chased a CR on the way back, not sure if I got it, BUT I did get a 2016 PR in the mile (5:59)... three STUPID drivers forced me to slow down, they earned private viewings of my middle finger (one a double-tap).

And, yes, I know that's childish.

After my run. Took a quick cat nap in the sauna and woke up feeling like I had about 10 adult beverages. So groggy. Not a good idea. Hit the pool and woke up a bit. Finally felt like myself during the last 500. Showered and cruised to work.

Doing this 4 mile PRSP race tomorrow. Hope I don't break something.

Today is my son, Danny's 17th birthday. I am so proud of the smart, kind, and thoughtful young man he is becoming. I'm a lucky mom, for sure.

Met at Meadowlark for the Birthday Shindig. Zach, Ben, Greg, Jason, Matt, Me, and Carolyn, for a cruise up Lake and down Sheridan. Great company for a really nice run. Once back at Meadowlark I pulled out all the usual party essentials, including the Big Cookie with the edible paper unicorn. For our Boston Bound Birthday Girl. :)

Happy Friday.
