We have found our new favorite place. Matt, Carolyn, Jason, John, Ben and Myself, in various shades of green, met at Meadowlark. 7 awesome St Patty miles to Pioneers Park and back. No one had a headlamp, but that made it so cool. The stars were so beautiful. Great route courtesy of our favorite, personal race director. Felt good today. Post run coffee at Meadowlark with lots of adrenaline junkie talk. My new passion and goal?---to climb a big mountain!! I'm not kidding. I want to do this!! Longs Peak here we come! :)

  • moxie moxie I've done Longs Peak. It's certainly a challenging hike, but not rock climbing per se. Best view in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Met up w/ Carl and Dan showed up as we started. We all ran the first couple together but Dan already had a few miles in so he broke off to head back. Fairly dark on the trails. Started solo, met Carl and Justin for a few miles, finished solo. Great to run with them, if only for a short time!

Boston bib numbers are up! Mine is 7564...wave 1, corral 8. That's the last corral of the first wave. Cut off qualifying time for wave 1 was 3:09:48, and I just squeaked in 20 seconds ahead of that.
