Great event for Tristan Trail run in Treynor. Great to see so many faces out there! No warm up :)

About 1/4 mile in running w WassE & Starbuck, WassE says maybe we take my 5k PR x 3 (14:11x3=42:33) as a good goal today? I said how about doubling it (28:11) & going from there...1/8 mile later he was gone! ???? Spent rest of race trying to reel him in, no could do. We're even now 1-1. Crazy given where he was w quad muscle X2 surgery 5 months ago
