Drove over to Franklin Park with intention of doing a fartlek workout over the course, but during warm up realized I clearly was not recovered enough from Sunday's race. Postponed the hard effort and just did 10 easy over different parts of the course. (Bear cage 4x, WPG 3x) No life left in this pair of Kilkennys. Literally threw them in the garbage when I got home. I'm clearly a fan of ignoring my own log comments, because I was complaining about how this particular pair of shoes felt lifeless on both 7/10 and 8/3. Stewpid, stoopid, stuupid.

Junior high fun. Some days I say that sarcastically. Today they acted like humans. No sarcasm font needed today.

Papillion [20190924]: Couldn’t Fartsack; Went For a Run

Slept bad, faxed an out to Mollak.

Couldn't fully fall back to sleep, so I got up later and went for a short recovery paced run; did some abs in the driveway after (making a pretty sweat angel in the process).

Happy Toosdee!

Nice run this morning. Thought I heard a couple gun shots right before I took off. Saw a few police driving Q Street. Nice weather!
