Felt ok leg- and tiredness-wise, but stomach became a real and sudden issue during the last few miles, and cut it short a mile to walk it in without incident. Chestnut Hill reservoir then some of the backstreets over on the Brookline side and then back through Coolidge Corner.

Took it out aggressively and tried to stay close to Chris D. Started to fall back late in loop 1. Battled with Corky and Fink for most of the rest of the race until I pulled away late. Ran the roller coaster roots section more confidently than I usually run roots and it went well, so I’ll try the same in future races. Good effort to build on.
