Neighborhood streets weren't too bad considering the snow from yesterday. Nice little run with Carl :). While standing at the corner deciding the best direction to head, saw a sedan turn in front of a pickup - not a good ending to that story. Eeek.
  • getfuzzy getfuzzy ouch! but I'm glad you guys were out of the way. sounds like the footing is really the pits. way to get in almost 8!

Omaha [20190218]: Snowshoeing in District 66

Parked @ Blue Moon and then shuffled off to meet up w/ BetzE; we spent the next hour or so shuffling around the Regency area.

But first we got to mostly witness an accident @ 90/Pacific; clean up was in it's final stages by the time I passed through after we parted.

90th, from Center to Farnam, I'd say 1 in 6 sidewalks weren't cleared of snow/ice, many of those hadn't been touched at all.

Happy Presidents Day Y'all!
  • BetzE BetzE Thanks for making the trek up to shuffle with me!

  • getfuzzy getfuzzy so frustrating to deal with footing like that. You guys are so disciplined and determined!

Four loops of Kohler park. The far side of the park was drifted badly in one spot but otherwise footing decent.

Abs beforehand.

Just me and one other lady walking, we were going in opposite directions. Kind of nice to see another soul out there. :)

  • BetzE BetzE Another brave soul :)
