Treadmill miles with the husband on the one next to me. He wants to do a half marathon for his 40th birthday this next year. This may be the hardest coaching I've had to do yet.... The boy came with and ran 1.5 miles and biked 5 and had the biggest smile on his face afterwards. The husband, well, he's not smiling so much...

I'm sore! I guess running 13 miles makes you sore whether pacing or racing. Loved yesterday so much. My most rewarding pacing race to date! Lots of PRs made. Made my day. My favorite race day of the year, hands down.

My dude Scotty, tore it up with a 116. Volk with a 128. Lots of happy folks. None more than me and my main man. Partners til the end. :)

So last night as the kids were hottubbing in the backyard, a creepy psycho raccoon attacking the german shepard in the yard behind us. It was awful. Grace was crying as the varment was mauled by the dog. Good times. :/ Animal control was called. Dog was left outside all night. Howling. Its like Animal Kingdom. :/ Don't think I didn't think of that little beady eyed creature as I was running solo in the dark. It's a warzone.

Now at work. Lots of post Halfsy peeps at work. It's really kind of nice....they treat me like an elite runner. :D If they only knew.
