Ran to Elm Bank. Ran around Elm Bank incl 1x 5K course. Stumbled home. Dead legs. Stomach very unhappy towards end. Strength at Y.

Course is in good shape overall. Small tree down on side trail you go down twice about 1 and just before end, but it?s easy to get over and hopefully gone by race day. They were mowing back grass area by soccer fields. Front grass area is high, but will get trampled down some by earlier races or maybe they?ll mow it.

Gorgeous morning for a run on fresh legs after rest day yesterday. Friends at the campground reminded me of a promise I made last night that I would be drinking a beer at 10:30 am when I was a quarter mile in, so took a short break to down a Busch light. That actually worked pretty well for the rest of the run lol!

Found a dry window! And felt good despite Hardly any sleep last night. Kids all pumped and crazy with the storm and Husker on/off action. Matt and Jackson lasted a long time until the huge monsoon, and then threw in the towel and headed home. I had several broken pots on my deck, but when I ran this morning, I saw hardly any other storm damage. But fresh spider webs everywhere! I was covered! Yuck! I feel bad for all the Husker game goers.....they will have to wait just seven more days to finally witness the Second Coming Which Is Scott Frost. :)

At work now. Some doozies yesterday. And I’m sure more of the same today. Happy Sunday.
