Great morning for super 8 - with Dave, Theresa, Carl, Jimmy, Shawn, Ashley and a few miles with Chuck. Had to pick a path around the construction and oppossum by the new Legends Sports Bar at 71st and Pacific and saw an owl hanging out in the grass at Elmwood Park. We were thinking that he might be the owl that was just released from Raptor Recovery after getting caught in the soccer net at Duchesne last month.

Well, I put out the request, and of course, my bud Ben came through. LexusPaceCar showed up at the Lark. It's a tradition now. :) Good Des Moines recap, and State XC precap.

Well, a bit of a shakeup in the lineup for the Spartans. No worries. They are ready and they will be fine.

Molly is on deck, but most likely will not run. She is so excited. Wrote letters last night to all her teammates. I love seeing her so happy.

GO EAST. TAKE STATE. Please cheer them on for me.....All you Kearney-goers.
