Pretty unbelievable afternoon for February in Nebraska! Can't wait for spring and summer. The run felt pretty good, counting my blessings.

Song of the day: "Memphis" by Johnny Rivers. Cool original version by Chuck Berry; and Elvis does a great one but I am partial to Johnny Rivers' rendition. Just found out that he is FROM Baton Rouge, a little over one month after my trip there!

Left for Lincoln for a run at 5:15 am and just arrived back home at 5:15 pm. Met Greg, Kelly & John for a great long run. 6.5 mile warm up, 6.5 tempo and 2 mile cool down. Had breakfast with Greg, hung out with the Hattan twins for a bit, helped a NWU team mate with a tax return and met my brother for a couple drinks at the Lincoln Race Course made for a long day.

Changed my focus today. Boston 2018 is off the table. My son Zach received an acceptance letter to Liberty University yesterday and he is has decided to further his educational pursuit there. My priorities and resources have now changed to help him make the transition. So proud of him!

Breeze was a bit cool but not too bad out. Got through the game ok. Another season done. Considering it started with me getting tripped and Grandma rushing the court, it went pretty well. Five girls teams that I worked made it to the state tournament.

To the Anytime Gym before work. This was the weirdest elliptical ever. :/. Ineffective workout. 100 push-ups intermingled.

Such an exciting weekend at State. Molly anchored her relay team to a state medal. 6th place. :D. East girls and boys both placed 4th overall. Don't let the landlock fool you, Nebraska has Top Notch HS swimmers. I'm not kidding. There were some amazing swims. It was just such a stellar weekend. So many smiles on these kids' faces. I'm so happy Molly is just a Freshman and we get to do this three more times. :)
