Met Nel at VI for loop up 36th, Capehart, 25th and 370. Long run for the last couple weeks. Felt ok...not great. Better week than last but pain continues to linger along length of gracillis esp. at knee and pubic connections.

Driving over to MoPac via naDDy and happened upon smilEy, waRRior and runAll50 just past Hwy 370.

Decided to park car, jumped out and ran about 30 minutes with them...wow, that's been like forever! Nice to see some of the folks!

Girls ended up 3-2 for the weekend, did well against Metro Teams (Westside, Elkhorn & Skutt), not so well vs South Dakota teams. Good times all around though.

Unbelievably great day for February in Nebraska! Good morning, good run :)

Eleven years ago today was my marathon PR at the Freescale Austin TX marathon, 3:03:47. The course then was point to point and a net downhill. Don't think I will come close to that marathon time again, and I'm cool with that. Two other of our friends were at that race and both had amazing times--CN and Sweetness; although I did not know either of them back then.

Just me and Mr. Volk. Neither of us knew how this would go. He just got back from Maui, and I, well, I just did that dumb Tower race. Anyway, it was so pretty out and we just talked and talked. The miles just flew by. The sunrise was beyond beautiful and I felt really nice. Good for the soul, this one was. :)
