Such a great day for a run. My t shirt and shorts even elicited a "check out this m****f*****!" from a guy on North 16th Street. I definitely faded on this run. I felt great for the first 5 and then dropped off. I'll blame it on little sleep and the fact that I've been taking sudafed. Still a great day to be out there running and jumping in puddles.

All quiet on the northern front except for the wind. And a brilliant moon.

Almost had a collision with a raccoon! ha ha.... I was going east, he was barreling south and our paths crossed. Then a rare car came down the road and I directed him the other way for fear he would be run over. A comical moment to lighten up the run.

Needed to do today because of working the weekend. Was not really looking forward to this with how I've been feeling. Pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. Solo. Wished I could have picked up the pace more at the end, but uphills and a stiff South wind prohibited that. Happy that I felt I could have gone longer if needed. :)

Big Weekend!!! Swim Conferences! Prelims today. Molly is swimming the 200 Free and the 100 Free. Needs to place in the top 16 to make it to Finals tomorrow. Super exciting. :)
