Chilly Pi Run! Almost any other day, shoes that breathe well is a good thing. That wind blowing through the shoes really frosted the toes! I figured out how I injured my knee a few years back. My toes were so cold, I started to heel strike until I felt it in the knee and forced myself back to proper form.

Slept in to avoid the cold and cause I was tired. Figured some harder effort would be good so I pushed the pace from the start. This route is a steady, deceptive uphill on the way out and down on the way back. Had the watch hidden under my jacket the whole run so just going by feel. 7:26, 7:07, 7:19, 6:48, 6:31

Car said 8°, Garmin says 10°, in either case I still went in shorts, b/c little to no wind.

Friendship recap run w/ smilEy and "Eddie Shawn"; got smilEy's Dallas (4th Woman!) Marathon adventure, medal hung on her by Dez, then shook Meb's hand. NBD.

Also, "Eddie Shawn" is my new favorite 2nd/3rd grade girls basketball coach. Go get 'em, "Eddie Shawn"!!

We were treated to the dark shadows of 4 or 5 deer; could've been mountain lions, but, they certainly looked like deer. ;)

Another brutal day in the Spin Room. If Michelle said one more, "Another half turn increase", I was gonna blow a gasket. Chatty Matty right next to me didn't help. Only me, Matt, Lynette, and Michelle today. Bon Jovi blaring on the stereo made the day complete. I'm not gonna say which one of us has a Jon Bon Jovi pillowcase, but that person was extra happy. :)

Thirteen hours to "Rogue One" I have. Very excited I am. Always in motion is the future. Patience you must have, young Padawan.
