Weather was calm when I started the run. Felt better as I got into the first 2 miles. Then I turned into the wind that had come up big time! Cut the run a bit short and walked the last couple blocks due to a side ache.

Last night was the big surprise BDay shindig I pulled together for Matt. Good times. We have some really great friends.:) Anyway, Ivan was telling me that it's time to register for Trek Up The Tower. Yikes! He said you better get your butt in gear and start training. Ok, he would never say anything like that, that was me saying that. So today was Day 1. 442 Floors in one hour. I literally almost died.

I have to give some props to my training partner, Greg. He crushed CIM. A 3:16 for Mr. Hanel, and got himself a solid BQ! Everything fell into place. So awesome. We are all so proud of him. But Jason was the first one to say last night how jealous as hell he is about it. Once the Good Pastor said it, we all felt free to share the same sentiments. :) Really though, I am so happy for my friend.

And Sir Carl!!! Big article! So proud. Heck, my friends are just awesome. :)
