Got to bed late after the Burwell game. Out of sorts and fell asleep on the couch where I stayed. Got up and headed to the pool. Felt really nice, but still....I'm sorry to be so blunt, but my last two weeks have just been the shits. With a capital shit. I just really wanted to stay in the pool, for like, a month.....But, nope, the water aerobics class was starting and the usual glares from the little old ladies snapped me back into reality. They are right--get out, pull up my skirt, and get on with it. So that's what I will do. :)

Linny ^Yes!! Elk Creek! I knew I wasn't crazy! And no, we didn't see any wild horses. Darn it! I would have liked that. Saw a large group/pack/herd (?) of deer though. :). Such pretty little animals. Hope they make it through the weekend. :/

Backed off a little this morning. Saw lots of people out and even made one girl scream. I was on my way back through campus and a guy and girl had started running a little in front of me. As I was passing, the girl suddenly turned, jumped and screamed. Fortunately we all got a laugh out of it.

Met Theresa, Dave, and Jimmy on 90th and Pacific, and we decided to explore the neighborhood north of Dodge. Nice chance. Heard 3 owls (hence the route name, courtesy of Jimmy).

My son received his first college acceptance on Monday night, so I guess he's really going to leave us next year;). I'm very proud of him! Fingers still crossed for the "dream school", but I think he will have several good choices.

hskrrs This is like the 3rd time I've been tripped up/knocked down in my career on the court. The first time a fan was standing on the court looking for a seat when I ran into him at full speed, dropped me on my knees.
