Tough going. Had to stop on the way back and stretch out the Usual Suspects. It did help though. Also was dehydrated. Old guys know they are dehydrated when they don't get up in the middle of the night to pee. Life is full of little tradeoffs.

Just went up to start. 400 ft of gain in just over a mile. This flatlander was sucking wind. All singletrack except an out and back along the reservoir road to connect trails. Finished with the last 2 miles on a pretty flat section. It did feel good to be able to pick the pace up for that section.
