Air was a little damp at the start, but only a couple sprinkles the entire ride. Decent pace against the headwind on the way out. Started pretty fast on the way back, but as we started the next climb after the fastest descent, my rear derailleur cable broke just as I was shifting down and it went into the smallest cog on back! Took me a couple seconds to realize what happened. Had to shift to the middle ring up front and muscle through the hills and stops on the way back! Good group, decent weather, fun ride!

Well, looks like that's all for my running career. Wanted to give it one more try, but barely made it around the track. The knee is shot. At least I got the chance to run a 5K with my daughter. It was the only incomplete thing on my running bucket list. If I try to ignore this I'm now messing with my ability to walk without a limp. I can bike and row, so at least now I can focus on them and stop deluding myself. Oh well...
